Booking a session is super simple!
Just follow these easy steps:
Reach Out: Drop me a message through my contact form,or email . Let me know what type of shoot you are looking for and I often arrange to have a chat or communicate through email to make sure I can plan your shoot perfectly!
Choose Your Date: I’ll check my schedule and find a date that works for both of us. Once we have that sorted, I’ll send over a confirmation and any other details you need.I take a deposit at this point too.
Get Ready: I’ll provide you with all the info you need to prepare for your session through my client guide that will be emailed to you.
Enjoy the Session: On the day of your shoot, just show up ready to have fun, and I’ll take care of the rest!

Don’t worry - I know the feeling! It is my job as a photographer to make you feel comfortable and I often structure shoots to give poses that let you warm up to the camera.
Even though I would describe my style as more documentary and capturing you as you are I will give prompts and as much guidance as you need. I have had people start their shoots incredibly nervous and by the end they have loved the experience!

No worries if your little ones aren’t totally into the photo session - that’s totally normal!
Here’s how we can handle it:
Keep It Fun: We’ll keep things light and playful, turning the shoot into a fun experience with games that work as pose ideas.
Take Breaks: If they need a break, we’ll take one. We can grab a snack, run around a bit, or just chill for a few moments. The session is all about making sure everyone feels comfortable.
Go with the Flow: Sometimes the best moments happen when we go with the flow. We’ll capture those candid, genuine expressions, even if they’re not all about posing.
Be Flexible: We can always adjust plans to fit their mood. If they’re more into exploring than posing, we can incorporate that into the shoot and still get great photos.

You will receive all film photos as high res digital downloads.
Film provides that extra bit of magic in my opinion. It provides photos that are nostalgic, timeless and with the most beautiful tones.
In film photography, embracing a bit of grain is often part of the medium's charm and aesthetic. Unlike the ultra-clean look of digital, film grain adds texture, depth, and character to an image.

I have two packages which detail both outdoor and indoor shoot locations and I can provide a list of suitable locations within Edinburgh and the Lothians (I am also happy to travel).
Outdoor locations could include a beautiful local beach or garden to showcase your personality and brand in a different light.
Indoor locations may be a wellness studio or local hall to show you in action teaching or providing a service.
It is completely up to you and we can chat through the options.
